How often do I need to change the timing belts on a 2003 Honda Accord EX v6 auto and a Toyota Avalon 2003 auto

Our cousin said it needs to be changed on the Toyota Avalon for sure at 90k.How often do I need to change the timing belts on a 2003 Honda Accord EX v6 auto and a Toyota Avalon 2003 autoYou should replace them both at least 90K. The reason is not because they stretch of deteriorate, but because they may fail, and when that occurs, there is

1) Possible engine damage

2) A much higher repair bill

3) The inconvenience of being without your car when you didn't plan on it

4) The greater inconvenience of having it fail while you are on the road, and now

a) have to tow it to the shop

b) have to rent a carHow often do I need to change the timing belts on a 2003 Honda Accord EX v6 auto and a Toyota Avalon 2003 autoit depends on the quality of the belts put in, the stock Honda ones last a long time, my sister has a 1999 Honda crv with 103,000 miles and it has never been changed. but the average life is like 80K miles. and if they are not replaced in time nothing horrible will happen to the engine, it will just shut off and it wont start!
